Biography

Felix was sworn in as a notary in 2015. He then continued his professional career with a Master's degree in taxation at the School of Management of the University of Sherbrooke that he completed in 2016.

His practice includes tax advice with respect to ante and post mortem planning. He is thus called upon to draft deed of trusts and wills, taking into account the legal aspects and, more particularly, the tax aspects related to these legal documents. Felix also acts in commercial transactions whether to analyze the tax and corporate impacts or to set up agreements between business partners such as shareholders’ agreements. Overall, his practice essentially focuses on tax or corporate advice to corporations and their various stakeholders.

Prior to joining Martel Cantin in June 2018, Felix practiced in a law firm in tax and corporate law. Beforehand, he had also completed an internship in traditional notarial law.

Beside his practice, Felix is ​​interested in social and philosophical issues related to taxation. He has been involved in various projects raising these issues. He is also passionate about tennis that he has taught for over ten years.

Felix is ​​a member of the Association de Planification Fiscale et Financière. He is also involved in the networking committee "L'Énergie de Laval".
